Mardi Gras Tuxedos
Since Mardi Gras can be one of our busiest times of the year, we ask that you plan to get fitted for your Mardi Gras outfit at least 2 weeks before the ball. This will ensure that you have a tuxedo for the event.
We encourage Mardi Gras attendees to check their invitations and see if the balls require white tie or black tie.
Most Mardi Gras balls in Pensacola and New Orleans do not require white tie and tails, and are usually black tie only with the option to wear a festive vest and tie or just classic black vest and tie. We also have some Mardi Gras themed jackets
All of the Mardi Gras balls in Mobile do require white tie and tails in order to enter the ball. We can help with that! We have costume de rigueur (white tie and tails) in-stock and have been fitting people in tails for decades.
When individuals come in for fittings, we will ask for a $40 down payment that is applied to their overall balance. $70 down payments are required for special orders. They can pay the remaining balance when they pick up their tuxedos 1-2 days before the ball.
What happens at a fitting?
At a fitting, we will take all of your measurements and try on the coat that you will be wearing to your Mardi Gras ball. The fitting takes 10-15 minutes! When you come in to pick up the formal wear 1-2 days before your event, we try the entire outfit on, including the shoes. Our staff at Randall’s is seasoned and our family has been fitting people in tuxedos for over 30 years. If something needs to be adjusted when you pick up the outfit, we can do that for you while you wait!
